Personal History

After graduating from the Okinawa Prefectural College of Nursing in 2009, I work for two years in the cardiovascular internal medicine ward and three years in the HCU at the National Center for Global Health and Medicine. Beginning in 2014, I worked for one year as a public health nurse at the Okinawa City Office. Based on my experiences working in both clinical medicine and community medicine, I wanted to study global health, a field which I had been interested in, so, in April 2015, I entered the Department of Global Health in the University of the Ryukyus Graduate School. 2017 Master of Health Sciences. 2018 JOCV to PNG

Message

I just entered the master’s program this year. In the future, I plan to use my experiences as a hospital nurse and public health nurse to serve in the field of global health. Although I’m still young and don’t have any overseas experience yet, I am enjoying my studies with the support of wonderful instructors and colleagues in the Department. Every day is exciting as I discover the prospects of a new world.
